He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Astor Diamond, Sr. and Valentine Morgan Diamond; his wife Janet Bishop Diamond; his son Virgil Astor Diamond, III; and his brothers, Glen Diamond and Larry Diamond.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Hall (Joey) of Science Hill and Cindy Clouse (Tom) of Somerset; his daughter-in-law Mary Martin Diamond; his grandchildren, Aaron Hall (Kennedy), Spencer Diamond, Riley Hall (Haley), Makenzie Clouse and Ben Clouse; and his great grandchild Cedar Hall.
In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Pulaski Co. Alzheimer's Respite Center.
