She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Weldy and Hazel Weldy; her husband Winford Claxton; her children, Richard Yonker and Susan Johannesen; and her siblings, Donald Weldy and Audrey Phipps.
She is survived by: her sons, Wade Whisenant of Somerset, Perry Norton Whisenant of Science Hill and Robert Yonker; and her grandchildren, Shelly Lawhorn (Ronnie), Alma Grey, Gabe Yonker, Samantha Yonker, Valarie Yonker, Amanda Yonker, Allissa Thacker, Crystal Flynn, Joshua Zachary, Cody Whisenant, Cody Yonker and Chris Whisenant.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
