It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Rae Irvin of Science Hill, Kentucky, born in Bethelridge, Kentucky, who passed away on August 27, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Janice Rae may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Janice Rae touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Barber and Viona Young Barber; her sons, Joey L. Irvin and Scottie A. Irvin; and her sister Gloriadean Whiles.
She is survived by: her husband Lacel B. Irvin; and her daughters, Peggy Easterly (Lloyd) of Science Hill, KY, Sandy Daulton (Mike) of Science Hill, KY and Tracie Wilson (Eric) of Science Hill, KY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; her beloved dog.
