He was predeceased by: his father James Estill Mercer. He is survived by: his mother Jewell Bea Harper Mercer; his sister Deborah Mercer Eads; his niece Abigail Brianna Eads; his nephew Adam Douglas Eads (Beverly); and his great-niece Luna Abigail Eads. He is also survived by friends and coworkers.
