He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bradford Elder and Ina Madine Dick-Elder; and his siblings, Jerry Dick and Gladys Elder. He is survived by: his children, Glenda Elder, Brannon Elder of Somerset, Gavin Elder of Science Hill, Marissa Keith of Somerset and Zoey Elder of Science Hill; his brother Rick Elder (Brenda) of Nancy; and his grandchildren, Coda Keith and Noah Keith.
