She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Dalton and Mary Irene Dalton (Harmon); her husband William "Bill" Shepherd; her daughter Shannon Rae Simpson; and her siblings, Ronald Lewis, Bobby Gerald, Timothy Wayne, James Arthur Dalton and Wanda Rae Sweeney.
She is survived by: her children, William Jared Shepherd (Alisha) of Science Hill and Billie Gail Martin (Ryan) of Somerset; her adoptive daughter Wendy Smith Stewart of Garland Bend; her brother Garry Lee Dalton of Science Hill; and her grandchildren, Daniel Jay Young and Lilly-Ann Mikayla Young. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
