Betty Joyce Elliott Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Joyce Elliott of Science Hill, Kentucky, who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Holbert Dick and Neattie Haggard Dick; her parents-in-law, Gid and Ivadean Elliott; her brothers, Lonnie Noel Dick and Othel Dick; her stepmother Hazel Dick; her stepbrothers, William Billy Butt and Jim Butt; her siblings-in-law, Gene McKee, Glyness Dick, Jearleen Dick and Marletta Butt; and her niece Donna Butt Moore.
She is survived by: her husband Rod Elliott; her children, Peggy Elliott Sewell and Randy Elliott; her granddaughter Shyianna Hoskins (Donald); her great grandchild Hensley Ray Hoskins; her brother Gerald; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Elliott, Patricia McKee and Shirley Butt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take form of donations to the Northside Baptist Church of Science Hill or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
