He was predeceased by: his father Dewey Brown (Myrtle); his siblings, Chester Brown, Gary Wayne Brown, Denver Brown, Harvey Brown and Judy Smith; his half-sisters, Dorothy Brown and Wyoma Brown; and his brother M. D. Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Brown; his children, Connie Spangler (Thomas) of Lufkin, Ethel Smith (Hank) of Scalf, Kentucky, Patricia Brown (Alvie) of Dewitt, Myrtle Mills of Barbourville, Denver Brown (Mary) of Dewitt and Dewey Brown III (Barbara) of Dewitt; and his sisters, Barbara Gray of Flat Lick, Elaine Gray (Garrett) of Flat Lick, Gladys Hobbs (Dempsy) of Scalf and Christine Brown (David) of Hickory Corners. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.
