He was predeceased by: his mother Adeline Hall Dickerson; his granddaughter Abigail Dickerson; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Dickerson; and his sister Pam Jevloic. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Barker Dickerson of Elliott County; his children, Ted M. Dickerson, Jr. of Columbus and Morgan Fultz (Garrett) of Versailles; his sisters, Peggy Barker, Debbie Hignite (Mitch), Dianna Sparks, Tammy Young and Jenny Carter (Toby); and his grandchildren, Tristen Fultz, Asher Fultz, Levi Fultz and Willow Fultz. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
