It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Swanda Anne Gallihue Hickman of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Eldridge and Rachel Bragg Gallihue Eldridge; her husband Steward Earl Hickman; her daughter Carolyn Hickman; and her sisters, Judy Ison and Marion Adkins.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Matthews of Sandy Hook, Michael Hickman of Sandy Hook and Richard Hickman of South Louisville; and her siblings, Daryl Gallihue of Grayson and Brenda Angelo of Columbus. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Swanda's honor to Whitt & Sons PO Box 704 Sandy Hook, Kentucky 41171 and will be applied accordingly.
