He was predeceased by: his parents, Mosie Prewitt and Myrtle Collinsworth Prewitt; and his sister Libby Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Gretta Prewitt; his stepsons, Brack Oliver and Martin Moore; his nephew Lucas Ferguson; his grandson Jaden Barker of Sandy Hook; his brothers, Phillip Prewitt and Frankie Prewitt; his brother-in-law Phillip Sparks; and his sisters, Brenda Moore, Patty Harmon (Jack), Teresia Skaggs (Charles) and Earnestine Auxier. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
