It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Dale Sparks of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, who passed away on August 16, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl Sparks and Nancy Sparks; his brother Larry David Sparks; his nieces, Miranda Oliver and Sheila Stephens; his great-niece Allie Sue McDowell; and his great-nephew Ashley Wyatt Laney.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Ison Sparks; and his siblings, Carl (Mary Sparks) of Sandy Hook and Janet Fay Laney of Sandy Hook.
