It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Velma Jean Craig of Sanders, Kentucky, who passed away on January 20, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer F. May and Cleo Richmond May; her daughter Lisa Craig Chadwell; her brother-in-law Forest B. Gordon; her nephews, Samuel Gordon and Chuck Gordon; her grandson Cory W. Chadwell; and her great grandchild Waylon Bissett.
She is survived by: her husband Alfred T. Craig; her daughter Angel Craig of Sanders; her granddaughters, Sara Pelsor of Madison, IN, Cristin Bissett of Vevay, IN and Heaven Craig-Bray of Lexington, KY; her great grandchildren, Quenton Chadwell, Hunter, Noah Bissett, Neveah, Aubree, Austyn and Aidyn Craig; and her sister Betty Jean May Gordon of Milton, KY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and facebook friends.
The family has decided due to the Pandemic, no memorial service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given directly to the family or the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
