He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Courtney and Frances McKinley Courtney; and his sister Bonnie Courtney. He is survived by: his wife Glenna Lee Powell Courtney; his children, Christopher Lee Courtney (Teresa), Cynthia Lee Blake (Dave Byrd) and Candace Lee Gullion (David); and his siblings, Dennis Courtney, Ray Courtney, Brenda Craddock and Connie Courtney. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
