She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Nichter and Mary Louise Nichter; and her siblings, Joe "Buddy" Nichter (Peg) and Mary Lou Webber (Maurice). She is survived by: her husband Joe; her daughter Joann Watkins (Dave); her granddaughters, Pam Lehring (Bob), Sheila Meredith and Becky Noel; her sister Metta Davidson; her sister-in-law Chris Ward; and her grandchildren, Shaun McConnell, Darin Meredith (Nicole), Keatin Woosley (Cory), Devin McConnell, Jacob Watkins, Dawson Noel and Addison Watkins. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
