He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Hensley and Mattie Howard Hensley; his siblings, Janet Hensley and Wallace Hensley; and his grandson Zachery Hensley.
He is survived by: his wife Zelda Combs Hensley of Salyersville; his sons, Loren David Hensley (Anna) of Salyersville and Daniel Wayne Hensley (Carla) of Salyersville; his grandchildren, Quinton David Hensley of Salyersville, Leighton Isaiah Hensley of Salyersville, Ethan Michael Hensley of Salyersville and Carlee Peyton Hensley of Salyersville; and his siblings, Bueford Hensley (Helga) of Woodbridge and Mildred Franklin (Henry) of Ashland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
