She was predeceased by: her parents, Less Risner and Julie Whitaker Risner; her husband Jim Prater; her daughter Myrtle Whitaker; her siblings, Kermit Risner, Garland Risner, Boyd Risner, Estie Fritzpatrick and Edith Howard; her grandchildren, Kermit Whitaker and Darvin Whitaker; and her son-in-law Challie Bailey.
She is survived by: her sons, Garner Lewis of Royalton, Flynt Douglas Prater of Royalton, Lester Prater of Royalton and Walter Prater of Royalton; her stepson Harold Prater of Coldwater Michigan; her daughters, Linda Bailey of Royalton, Vivian Prater of Royalton, Norma Cole of Royalton and Sandra Peet of Montgomery; and her siblings, Lloyd Risner of Royalton Kentucky, George Risner of Royalton Kentucky, Kelly Risner of Royalton Kentucky, Mary Risner of Royalton and Sissy Jewel Risner of Royalton. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
