She is survived by: her husband Herbert Carty; her children, Joshua Carty (Alisha) of Salyersville, David Carty of Houston, Ray Carty of Vest, Carrie Allen (Charley) of Salyersville, Donna Mullins (John) of Paintsville, Mary Pence (Chris) of Morehead, Melissa Richie (James) of Vest and Charlotte Newsome of Richmond; and her siblings, Tommy Minix of La Porte, Dale Minix of Salyersville, J. C. Hancock of Florida, Woodie Hancock of Indiana, Orrenda Mullins of Salyersville, Priscilla Woods-Kendrickson of Florida, Pat Brady of North Carolina, Betty Marshall of Florida, Janice, Kathy Hunley of Salyersville and Marietta Shepherd of Calhoun. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
