He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Poe and Ethel Mae Helton Poe; his former wife Almeda Perkins Poe; his wife Lydia "Lou" Conley Poe; and his siblings, Charles Poe of James Douglas, Bobby Dean Poe, Shelvie Jo Crace, Blenda Jenkins and Peggy Poe.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Preston (Charles) of Paoli, Tina Mullins (Billy) of Salyersville, Jennifer Rayburn (Harold) of Georgetown, Brett Higgins (Kim) of Georgetown and Jason Higgins of Lexington; and his siblings, Kenneth Poe of Salyersville and Janice Conley of Newport. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
Due to the ongoing COVID_19 pandemic, masks and social distancing are required.
In lieu of flowers, family has requested contributions to be made, in honor of Ronald Gene Poe, to the State Road Fork United Baptist Church, P.O. Box 454, Salyersville, Kentucky 41465.
