He was predeceased by: his parents, Bracken Hunley and Audley Adams Hunley; his daughter Geneva Hunley; and his siblings, Beecher Hunley, Hager Hunley, Herbert Hunley, Bradley Hunley and Tressie Stephens.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Gamble Hunley; his children, Joey Hunley (Chantelle) of Salyersville, Roger Hunley, Jr. (Shawna) of Salyersville, Debra Marshall (Eric) of Charlotte and Donna Isaac (Kenny) of Salyersville; and his grandchildren, Ashley Pelfrey (Eric) of West Liberty, Kayla Ritz (Josh) of Salyersville, Chad Hunley of Salyersville, Blake Isaac (Ashley), Tanner Hunley (Polly) of Salyersville, Cody Hunley (Chelsea) of Salyersville, Adam Marshall of Wilmington, Chase Hunley (Desiree) of Salyersville, Charles Marshall (Stella) of Charlotte, Christopher Marshall of Nashville, Kristen Compton (Blake) of Mt. Sterling and Blake Helton of Lexington. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
