He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Gillum and Beatrice Joseph Gillum; and his brother Ronald Gillum. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Watkins Gillum of Salyersville; his children, Angela Gillum of Salyersville, Theresa Miller (Raymond) of Salyersville and Paul Michael Gillum (Diana) of Sherman; and his grandchildren, Krista Rowe of Salyersville, Charla Howard of Lexington, Kristie Miller of Louisville, Lyndsay Collett of Salyersville, Wesley Miller of Salyersville and Michael James Gillum of Sherman. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, a host of family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM at the Salyersville Funeral Home (694 Parkway Dr, Salyersville, KY 41465). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
