He is survived by: his wife Betty Salyer; his children, Williams Bernard Salyer of Ohio, Melvin Acey Salyer of Van Lear and Karen Sue Salyer of Danville; his sisters, Sherry Preston of Lexington and Annettie Gamble of Ohio; his grandchildren, Aaron Salyer, Brian Salyer, Cody Cantrell, Haley Salyer and Jennifer Salyer; and his great grandchildren, Addie Salyer, Brooklyn Salyer and Elizabeth Cantrell.
