He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Allen, Sr. and Ora Lee Davis Allen; his wife Lonnie Allen Trusty; and his siblings, Brunie Allen, Irvin Allen, Jr., Ray Allen, Emma Jean Bowling, Beatrice Allen, Bonnie Jean Allen and Laudie B. Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Rex Allen, Jr. of Jacksonville, Jesse Allen of Milford, Steve Allen of Syracuse, Edward Dewayne Allen of Van Lear and Jennifer Auxier of Royalton; his siblings, Ed Allen of Syracuse, Marsue Dillion of Salyersville, Lu Edler of St. Lucy and Kathy Ann Allen of Indiana; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Sheena, Amber, Holly, Seth, Chris, James, Scott, Colten and Heather. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel (900 Parkway Dr, Salyersville, KY 41465). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
