He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Clark and Nora Eva Owens May; his wife Martha Arnett May; his son Mac May; and his brothers, Powell E. May, Billy W. May, James G. May and Ray May.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Sue Adams of Salyersville, Nora Ruth Helton of Salyersville and Beverly May-Patrick of Salyersville; and his caregiver Agnes Jackson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
