He was predeceased by: his parents, Aronton Reed and Bonnie Patrick Reed; his son Tim Reed; and his brothers, Henry Reed and Donald Reed.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Reed of Oil Springs, Kentucky. and Robbie Reed of Oil Springs, Kentucky.; and his siblings, Gordon Reed of Salyersville, Kentucky., Johnny Reed of Salyersville, Kentucky., Mitchell Reed of Salyersville, Kentucky., Georgia Statzer of Hamilton, Beverly Hill of Lexington, Betty Gay Allen of Lexington, Dottie Ward of Salyersville and Francis Allen of Salyersville, Kentucky.. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren.
