She was predeceased by: her parents, Buck Elam and Cassie Lean Wireman Lafferty; her husband Miles Jasper Spurlock; her daughter Reda Jane Spurlock; and her sister Carolyn Lafferty.
She is survived by: her children, Willie Darrell Spurlock (Sandra) of Salyersville and Teresa Lean White (Don) of Salyersville; her siblings, Nicodemus Lafferty of Indiana, Fairia Coldiron of Indiana, Martha Jane Castle of Indiana and Parthenia Wells of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Nathan Darrell Spurlock, Debra Michelle Joseph, Kevin Wayne White and Melissa Dawn Duff; and her great grandchildren, Jagger, Jayline, Channing, Preston, Adalee, Ellie, Jasper, Malayna and Ivy.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel (900 Parkway Dr, Salyersville, KY 41465).
