As we bid Myrtle Arnett farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Myrtle Arnett is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Prock Arnett and Nora Kimberlian Arnett; and her sisters, Lilly Arnett, Alene Farris, Ann Howard and Loraine Montgomery.
She is survived by: her husband Delbert Howard of Salyersville; her children, Melissa Brown (Dan) of Salyersville, Delbert Howard Jr. (Ashley) of York and Matthew Howard of Salyersville; and her brothers, Glen Arnett of Salyersville and Jerry T. Arnett of Salyersville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Salyersville Funeral Home (694 Parkway Dr, Salyersville, KY 41465). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
