He is survived by: his wife Jewel Perkins Salyer; his children, Michael Gregory "Greg" Salyer (Jessica) of Salyersville, Gregory "Allen" Salyer of Conroe, Juan Manuel Salyer of Salyersville and Katrina Mollett (Paul) of Paintsville; his brother Jackie Dwayne Salyers (Sharon) of Quinter; his grandchildren, Addison Elsie Salyer, Bryce Salyer, Preslea Noel Mollett, Miley Grace Salyer, Krystal Darling, Gregory Andrew Salyer and Aiden Lee Salyer; and his cousin Phillip Dean "Rose" Spradlin.
