He was predeceased by: his parents, John Benedict Glovak, Sr. and Edna Glovak (Grembi); his son John B. Glovak III; and his siblings, Frank D. Glovak and Mary Catherine Gill.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Glovak (Whitt); his daughters, Theresa Davis (Mark) of Crab Orchard, KY and Lora Mullins (Russ) of Eubank, KY; his stepchildren, Vint Dyer and Frankie Dyer; his grandchildren, John Mark Davis, Rachael Emery (Austin), Robert Davis and Lucas Mullins; and his sister Theresa Shaffer (George) of Corona, CA. He is also survived by dog; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends.
