He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Rowe and Minnie Cox Rowe; and his siblings, Therman Rowe, Herman Rowe, Wendell Rowe, William Bill Rowe, Elsie Culver and Myrtle Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Hamilton Rowe; his children, Jonathan Scott Rowe (Sheila Cole) of Salyersville and Raychell Sue Stephens (William Buckley) of Salyersville; and his grandchildren, Julia Raye Stephens, Andrew William Stephens, Jerry Lee Stephens and Alivia Scarlett Rowe.
