She was predeceased by: her parents, Price Johnson and Evenell Howard Johnson; and her sister Anita Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Veldon McCarty; her son John McCarty (Karena) of Salyerville; her grandson Peyton McCarty of Salyersville; and her brother Wayne Johnson of Salyersville.
