She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe N. Allen and Mary Wireman Allen; her husband Glenn P. Salyer; her grandson Douglas Glenn Johnson; her siblings, Dona Allen, Jimmy Allen, Curtis Allen, Mornie Allen and Una Howard; and her sons-in-law, Dean Smith, Douglas Johnson and Jerry Turner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ruth Smith of Parma, Ruby Turner of Xenia, Sue Johnson of Jackson and Joann Arnett (Flynn) of Salyersville; and her grandchildren, Debra Gates, Eddie Smith, Toni Johnson and Quint Turner. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren.
