He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Cole and Maggie King Cole; his siblings, Harold, Phillip, Paul, Garland, Gerald, Burl, Silas Jr., Mable, Brenda, Fannie and May (June); and his grandchildren, Michelle Ann Branham and Jerrica Arnett.
He is survived by: his wife Madeline White Cole; his children, Harold "Sonny" Cole of Paintsville, Richard Cole (Emma) of Salyersville, David Cole (Cathy) of Salyersville, Vonda Reed (Bill) of Camargo, Kathy Arnett of Salyersville, Sharon Reed of Salyersville, Mary Ann Salyer (Doug) of Salyersville and Jennifer Howard (Tomas) of Salyersville; and his sisters, Judy Farris of Salyersville, Wanda Bailey of Salyersville and Shirell Little of Jackson, Kentucky.. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, forty-seven great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
