He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hurford "Dick" Auxier and Sarah Stapleton Auxier; and his sons, Danny Ray Auxier and Franklin Auxier. He is survived by: his wife Earnestine Prewitt Auxier; his daughters, Sandra Hatfield of Salyersville, Virginia Blair of Salyersville and Patty Auxier of Columbus, Ohio; his stepsons, Harry Douglas Auxier, Jr. of Salyersville and Michael Auxier of California; and his brothers, Pete Auxier of Paintsville, Kentucky, Harold Auxier of Paintsville, Kentucky and Martin Auxier of Paintsville, Kentucky. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and a host great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
