He is survived by: his wife Brenda Watson Minix; his daughters, Lynn Minix Blanton and Janelle Lovely (Ronnie); his siblings, Charlotte Jackson, Iris Brown and Doyle Minix (Marcella); his sister-in-law Olivia Cole Minix; his grandchildren, Dalton Howard of Knoxville, Cambridge Minix of Salyersville, Shanna Howard of Lexington, Kendell Hagen Blanton of Salyersville, Shay Blanton of Richmond, Lindsey Tackett (Matt) and Logan Lovely of Salyersville; and his great grandchildren, Scarlett and Sophia Tackett.
