It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Michael Perkins of Salyersville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Perkins and Luna Wages Perkins; his siblings, Steve Perkins, Jackie "Ted" Perkins, James Perkins, Aaron Perkins, Rexford Perkins and Corrine McGee; and his close friend Rev. Gene Campbell.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Shawn Perkins of Morehead and April Brogdon of Salyersville; and his siblings, Jimmy Crace of Indianapolis, Darvin Ray Perkins of Salyersville, Doris Ann Oney (Melvin) of West Chester and Brenda Kay Hess of Cincinnati. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, with a host of loving nieces and nephews.
