With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dudley Nickels of Salyersville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Brack Nickels and Gladys Barnett Nickels. He is survived by: his children, Laura Ann Nickels and David Nickels; his siblings, Larry Nickels, David Nickels, Rob Nickels, Ella Mae Gibson, Mary Cole, Lita Jo Fletcher and Pansy Miller; his close friend Patty Lynn Jordan Nickels of Salyersville; his children, Robin Conn (Harry) of Salyersville and Michael Nickels (Janet) of Salyersville; his stepchildren, Christopher Combs of Salyersville, Tony Rowe of Salyersville, Tonya Lynn Sizemore of Ashland, Johnathon Rowe of Salyersville and Breanna Vanhoose of Salyersville; and his siblings, Sylvia Smith of Michigan, Rella Gipson of Salyersville, Jacob Nickels of Salyersville, Andrew Nickels of Salyersville and Abe Nickels of Salyersville. He is also survived by grandchildren, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Salyersville Funeral Home (694 Parkway Dr, Salyersville, KY 41465). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
