He was predeceased by: his parents, Morse Minix and Eliza Ray Minix; his stepson Labe Israel Minix; and his siblings, Robinson Minix, Daniel Minix and Jackie Minix.
He is survived by: his son Morse Delane Minix (Debra) of Salyersville; his stepsons, Michael Kramer, Rodney "Buggy" Kramer and Ricky Arnett (Dee) of Jackson; his daughters, Rochell Minix Reece (Charles) of Richmond and Melinda Minix Marsee (Sammy) of Lancaster; his sisters, Jo Ann Litteral of Salyersville and Honnie Riegal of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Beth Lyons, Brianna Turner, Baylie Winkler, Amber Gibson, Mistie Smith, Daniel Minix, Layne Marsee, Dalton Marsee, Nikki Jo Justice, Kara Arnett and Colton Arnett. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
