He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Porter and Sarah Rowe Porter; and his son Gregory Frank Porter. He is survived by: his wife Barbara White Porter; his children, Daniel Earl Porter, Jennifer Porter Jordan and Amanda Sue Porter Koger; his brother Delbert Porter of Salyersville; and his grandchildren, Gregory Porter, Danny Jordan, Zayden Koger, Brittany Prater, Ashley Whitaker, Maggie Barnett, Kendra Jordan and Hillary Porter. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
