He was predeceased by: his parents, Buel Whitt and Bessie Whitt (LeMasters); his brothers, Hershel Salyer and Samuel Whitt; and his brothers-in-law, Calla Howard and Harry Powers.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carrol Powers, Jimmie Salyer (Annette), Sandy Howard, Timothy Whitt and Mark Whitt; his former wife Pam Whitt; his daughter Amanda Daniels; his grandchildren, Lyssa and Payson; and his cousin Sandra Jean Jones. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
