She was predeceased by: her parents, Garner Montgomery and Imogene Bailey Montgomery Gullett; her husband Robert "Bob" Shepherd; her stepdaughter Terri Ortiz; and her brother Morris Montgomery.
She is survived by: her son Tyler Shepherd (Misty) of Salyersville; her brothers, Ronnie Montgomery (Kathy) of Salyersville, Forrest "Bud" Montgomery (Linda Gail) of Wellington, Dewayne "Poss" Montgomery of Salyersville and Paul "Gumby" Montgomery of Salyersville; her sister-in-law Alvia Patrick Montgomery; and her grandchildren, David Chandler Lykins, Mayley Grace Lykins and Robbie Ortiz. She is also survived by six nieces, two nephews, one great niece, and six great nephews.
