With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Sue Strickland Davis (Salyersville, Kentucky), born in Elkhorn City, Kentucky, who passed away on July 5, 2019 at the age of 71. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Strickland and Beulah Phipps Strickland; her husband Ottis Davis; and her siblings, George Strickland, John Strickland, Goble Strickland, Frankland Strickland, Barb Strickland, Phyllis Newsome, Lana Dring and Virginia Hogston.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney "Chico" Branham of Salyersville, Trina Lawson of Prestonsburg and Jennifer Akers Branham of Belcher; and her brothers, Billy Don Strickland of California and Randall Strickland of California. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
