With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carmeleata McCarty Vanhoose of Salyersville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 26, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Jessie and Virgie O. Wright McCarty; her husband Rev. Ralph D. VanHoose; her son Phillip VanHoose; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Marie VanHoose and Clyde Albert VanHoose.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph V. VanHoose of Salyersville, Victor VanHoose of Salyersville, Jerry L. VanHoose of Salyersville and Belinda Joyce VanHoose Jordan; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Ellen Nickerson, Kashetta Renea Jenkins, Jason Neil Jordan, Jeremy Vincent Jordan, David Jessie VanHoose, Jeffrey VanHoose, Linzee VanHoose and Duncan X. VanHoose. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
