He was predeceased by: his parents, Callie Stephens and Juanita Perkins Stephens; his wife Deadra Hensley Stephens; and his brothers, Kenneth Stephens and David Stephens.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lacy Russell (Chase), Alexandria Stephens and Abby Stephens (Cody); his siblings, Brenda Russell (Phillip) of Salyersville and Harold Pennington of West Liberty; and his grandchildren, Owen Russell, Grey Russell and Clara Stephens.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel (900 Parkway Dr, Salyersville, KY 41465).
