He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Coffey and Emogene Gambill Patrick; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Gambill, Teddy Ronald Coffey, Jerry Daniel Coffey and Linda Baumgardner.

He is survived by: his siblings, Janet Arnett (Jim) of Salyersville and Elwood Patrick (Garnett) of Salyersville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
