She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonzie Howard and Pearlie Tackett Howard; her husband Corbett Hale; her son Roger Dale Hale; and her siblings, Monroe Howard, Dennie Howard, Hershel Howard, Rex Howard, Kenneth Howard, Versie Hunley, Verlie Adams, Rosie Williams, Vetta Fay Caudill and Tressie Mae Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Ray (Joann Hale) of Salyersville and Joann (Ronnie Begley) of Mount Sterling; her siblings, Maggie McDowell of Lexington and Carl Howard of Mine Fork; and her grandchildren, Jamie Hale, Tina Dean, Darry Ray Begley and Brian Begley. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, with a host of nieces and nephews.
