He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hackworth and Rosie Fletcher Hackworth; his wife Pearlie Williams Hackworth; his children, Ricky Hackworth and Rita Risner; his siblings, Glenn Hackworth, Orville Hackworth, Leon Hackworth, Donald Gary Hackworth and Maxine Gullett; and his grandson Joshua Hackworth.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marvin Hackworth (Marie) of Michigan, David Hackworth (Barb) of Michigan, Dean Hackworth (Molly) of Michigan, Joy Davis (Roger) of Michigan and Vickie Ousley (Rick) of Michigan; his grandchildren, Courtney Risner, Justin Risner, Zachery Bailey and Chelsie Hicks; and his great grandchildren, Ashlyn Risner, Paityn Risner, Pipper Risner and Daniel Hicks.
