He is survived by: his wife Christine Chilton Nichols; his sons, Nathan Nichols (Dana) of Lawrenceburg, KY, Chuck Nichols (Jennifer) of Harrodsburg, KY and Allen Nichols (Alicia) of Harrodsburg, KY; and his sisters, Mary Louis Majors (Mike), Brenda Riley (Jeff) and Barbara Basham. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
