He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Dardy and Beulah Trimble Tipton; and his sister Peggy Lane. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay Noland Tipton; his children, Cathie Witt Pyle (Rick), Madison Co, Connie Lois Owens (Ray) and Tracy Benton Tipton Jr.; his siblings, Wavelene Embs, Sherry Kinnard of Florida, Fayette Co and Jim Tipton; his grandchildren, Seth Witt (Nebraska), Amber Witt, Josh Williams, Branden Williams, Tracy Logan Tipton (Amber) and Cody Boian; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Williams, Abbragail Williams, Boston Witt, Vivian Witt, London Witt, Alayna Tipton, Charleigh Witt, Knox Witt and Cole Tipton.
