He was predeceased by: his parents, Davis Hickman and Sarah Grittion (Marshall); and his brother Robert Andrew Gritton. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Mary Dott Gritton; his niece Cindy Reinhart; and his cousin Norma Burris Miller.
